I keep getting the blue screen of death, after about 5 minutes of running
and only when system wakes up from stand by mode.
The error message tells me that the problem is a graphic device driver and
singles it out to be "ati3duag.dll."
This has been happening with drivers 5.7, 5.8 and now with 5.9.
My system is only 2 mos old and as follows:
Tower: Antec sonata II atx with 450 Psu
Processor: Amd Athlon 64 processor Venice 3200
Mobo: Asus A8N-E Nforce 4 Ultra
Memory: 1 Gig OCZ el pc3200 1024 mb dual channel gold
HD: Maxtor Diamond max 10 200gb 7200rpm sata
Vid card: Asus extreme ax800xl radeon 256mb pci-e
Writer: lg gsa 4163b dvd+rw
Dvd Rom: Lg 16x dvd rom gdr-8163b
Floppy: Mitsumi 7in1 floppy drive/flash reader
O/S Windows xp pro sp2
If I simply shut down and restart system or reboot, all works well.
As mentioned I only get the BS of D after awakening from stanby mode and
running for about 6 mins.
Any one have a similar problem or know how to fix it?
Thanks
Milo
