blue screen problem

Hi everybody,

I have a blue screen problem. Sometimes when the CPU usage in over 80%. It suddenly turn to blue screen and say "detected a problem and need to restart......". It is too fast I couldn't finished the reading. Then the desktop restarts.

Anyone knows what is the problem?

Try and swap out the memory modules you do have for a different module or modules of the same speed, and see if that stops the blue screens do this after checking for viruses...
 
Hello, I have two 256mb memonys.And they all in the same speed. I will scan virus again!

Each time a computer is switched on, a power on self test (POST) is done.

(Errors) messages are displayed on the screen while POST in progress.
Press Esc if you want to see these messages.
During the POST a memory check is done.
You can press the 'Pause' key to pause the self test and 'Enter' key to continue the self test.

Are u always running the same application when this happens, or does it happen when ur running anything at all?

Hi 1nteger,

Yes! It happens sometimes when I try to convert the window media player files(.asf) to .wma files!
