I have a funny feeling the answer to this question will have to do with that
thing you call a firewire. I am assuming I don't have one. (I have no idea
what it is.) But I will go on to be sure anyway...
I record a video on my sony digital handycam. When I try to use MM2.1, I
click capture movie. The timer on the computer screen is going, but my
camera doesn't seem to be. I stop the capture and save the movie. But there
is nothing but a blue screen. No video/movie or sound. However, when I keep
my camera in record mode, you can see on the computer what my camera sees.
You know, live video, not recorded. So my question is, why, after I go
through the capture process, is there no movie? I can click play and
everything, but all there is is a blue screen.
I have tried using the software that came with the camera, Picture Package
1.5, but it is not compatable with my philips DVD+-RW. That claims there is
no cd in the drive when in fact there is. Can anyone of you fabulous
computer smarties help me out?
Thanks!
