Win2000 box, not sure the SP, but it runs along fine then
crashes with a blue screen. here are a few of the errors
that have popped up with the memory dump

1.
STOP : 0x0000007B (0xF084F84C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000,
0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

2.
STOP : 0X0000007A (0xC02FF69C, 0xC000000E, 0xBFDA745B,
0x05A4E860)
KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR

ADDRESS BFDA745B BASE AT BFD8D000, DataStamp 3a640ab6 -
PORTCLS.SYS

Any ideas on whats causing this? it has been going on for
a few days now.

thanks much

From the looks of it you may have the start of some hard disk problems.
Check your Event Viewer and see if it has disk i/o errors. If so you
may want to look into a replacement or new disk, and back up your system
ASAP (using Ghost would ensure you get everything on your system and
allow for easy transfer to another disk).
