i have gotten a blue screen error:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

several times.
all the articles i can find say that this is caused by
either new hardware or new software, neither of which
have been added to my computer.

i cannot figure out from the data supplied, how i can
resolve this problem.

if anyone can help, i would appreciate it.

thanks

Hi Larry,

That error message indicates a driver issue. Troubleshooting it can be
lengthy. Check that your hardware and the drivers for it meet the
compatibility list:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/services/whql/hcl/winxphclx86.txt

What were the last few things done to the machine? What driver installs or
software has been recently updated? How often does the STOP occur and does
it seem to occur at times when you are doing something inparticular on the
machine (printing, gaming ,etc)?
