Hi guys

I have a DELL XPS420 with Quad dual processors, a GeForce 8800GTX 768 mg
nVidia

a Dell 2208WFB Flat Panel monitor, ATI Theater 650 PRO Digital TV Tuner,
one 500

gb internal drive and one Tb external drive. My problem is when returning
to my

computer after being away from it for 20-30 min. or so and touché the mouse
or a key

it displays the following:

Driver_IRQ_not_less_or_equal

ndis.sys 89c9bd7d base at 89c75000 datestamp 479190e7

Stop 0x000000d1 (0x00000014 0x00000002 0x00000001 0x89c9bd7d

Physical memory dump complete

Conctact the administrator

At this point I would turn off and restart the computer and after

restarting a black screen would ask me to select from one of the following

options:

Start the windows in safe mode

Start the windows in safe mode with networking

Start windows normally

I am the admisnistrator of my computer and since I do not

understand or know what to do with the above message,

I would restart windows normally. The computer will boot

normally and display this small box:

"Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown
Windows can check online for a solution to the problem."

And if I view the problem details I get the following:

Error 8065FB10 in NDIS.sys

the computer will work flawlessly again and screen saver is working

fine untill I go away for 20 to 30 min. and when I touch one key or move the
mouse at my return, the problem return.

Is there a solution for this. I contacted Dell support three times already
and the problem still

Persist.

Thanks

Is there a reason why you are inserting all these carriage returns into your
posts? It makes your posts very difficult to read and to reply to.

Update the network adapter (NIC) drivers and possibly the dialup modem
drivers if you have a dialup modem installed. Uninstall what you have and
install drivers from Dell's website for your specific model computer. If
you have already done this or this doesn't work, then try uninstalling the
NIC and physically removing it. Replace with a known-working NIC. A NIC
costs under $20. If this is an onboard NIC, uninstall it in Windows to
remove the drivers, disable it in the BIOS and throw in a PCI NIC to see
what happens.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I do not know why all these carriage
returns got into my posts. I'm sorry that my posts were difficult to read
and
hard to reply to. I appology.

I Will get in touch with Dell and see if a new driver update and/or firmware
software are available.

If I am not successful I will also check with Linksys to for update also.
Maybe
it will help and as for manipulating the BIOS----I am very reluctant unless
some
one should me how to do this.

Thanks

All you need to do with Dell is go to their tech support website for your
specific model computer. All the drivers and BIOS updates will be there. It
is very easy to do a BIOS update on a Dell machine - just read the
instructions.

I'm not sure where Linksys comes into the equation. If you are talking about
a Linksys router, this has nothing to do with the blue screen error you're
getting in Windows.
