I have had the blue screen error message on and off for
the past year, now real bad. The OS has been re-installed
twice in the last 2 months and then Dell replaced my hard
drive but nothing has changed.
My error says:
Ox0000007E(0xC0000005,0x00000000,0xF96BB87C,0xF96BB57C)
Dell says to contact Microsoft and Microsoft's KB 818966
says not to download their fix unless my numbers in
parentheses exactly matches theirs, which it doesn't.
Dell seems to be good at passing the buck. They also told
me not to instsll any Windows Updates.
Please, can someone help me? Thanks in advance.
