Hi

When I start the machine I get a message "Windows was not shutdown
properly..." then it gives me several options. When I select Start Normally,
it takes a while then comes up with a message on the lines "Can not load
registry hive, config32 is corrupt...". What is the problem and how can I
fix it?

Thanks

Regards

Try this:
- Press F8 repeatedly during the early boot phase.
- Select "Last known good configuration" from the menu.

Hi

Next time you reboot your system keep tapping the F8 key until you access a
screen that has 'Last Known Good Configuration' as an option - try that.

.... and if the Last Known good configuration doesn't help , insert your
Windows CD , boot from it and try to repair Windows . Otherwise , say Goodbuy
to your files and reinstall with full format of the hard drive
