I am running Windows XP Home SP2 w/o problems for two years. I am set to
allow Microsoft to download upgrades etc automatically. A few weeks ago
the following programme appeared "Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications
KB905-17-4" This CANNOT be removed using Control Panel Delete etc.
Since this started to operate everything has gone haywire. I get arbitrary
shutdowns after a Blue Screen Critical error Reports which ascribe the error
to various programmes never the same and often saying memory is being
dumped. Other messages refer to 'wgatray..."
I am requested to advise Microsoft and do but response comes there none!!!
Any suggestions?
