Hi - I've upgraded to vista and am getting the blue screen of death every 5
to 10 minutes. I really need some help -

1) how can I open the log to try and find out what my problem is? When I
try it tells me that I don't have access to the file. (I only have 1 account
- default admin...)

2) When I try to install an exe that I think will help I get "Does not
support this Operating System: WNT_5.1P" - this is a file from asus for my
motherboard for vista 32-bit...it should work! I've gotten the same error on
a few executables, why?

Thanks for any help, I'm very frustrated after 2 days of crash after crash
with no luck in troubleshooting.

yeah, feel your pain. I got a Mac a few years ago and haven't had any
computer problems since... It's clearly a much better computer.

that is probably the BEST answer you will get.

I had the same issues (some still ongoing, but at least "usable" now. Go to
Control Panel, System and Maintenance, Problem Reports and Solutions. My
Windows Desktop Search and Protocol Host keeps seizing, but at least its not
constantly giving BSOD!
