Just loaded a fresh, newly formatted install of Windows
XP Pro to a cleints computer. Load approxiately 6
applications and all was working well. Took the computer
back over to the clients office and boom on first start-
up with all devices (e.g. printer, scanner, etc.)
attched, the XP install performs a long start-up routine
and wham a blue screen .dmp file dump to the /minidmp
directory. Open up the .dmp file using windbg to find
multiple references of;
"timestamp invalid on [a system file name]"
listed multiple times throughout the file. I have looked
high and low as to what this possibly refers to and have
come up with nothing. If anyone has any insight as to the
cause of this and it's solution, please contact me asap
at (e-mail address removed). Thank you greatly !
Sincerely,
