I recently upgrade my dell 4600 dimension pc from 256 to
768 by adding K-Byte 256 * 2 to existing 128 * 2 memory
modules. Since than I get blue screen once or twice a day.
Has anybody face same problem ???

Greetings --

It's either defective, sub-standard, or incompatible RAM.

It's absolutely essential that any new RAM module be compatible
with both the motherboard and any other RAM module(s) in the system.
Additionally, there are sometimes jumper switches on older
motherboards that need to be reset for the new RAM configuration.
Consult your motherboard's manual.

Does the problem go away if you remove the new RAM?
If so, the new RAM either is bad, is not compatible with
your current hardware, or you have a RAM slot that is bad.
