Steve Dodson said:Blue icon is caused when you RDP or fast user switch on a computer. There
is no functionality issue when the icon turns blue.

as one of the hallmarks of the Disappearing Non-Hiding or Hiding
Notification Taskbar Bug, for which the only remedy offered is
Log-Off/Log-On. Really annoying, isn't it?

SP Goodman said:"RDP"? What if this happens and you're not using Fast User Switching,
then? I'd already put it down to the Taskbar bug acknowledged here.

Bill Sanderson said:If you can demonstrate the blue Icon when 1) Fast User Switching is not
enabled on the machine and 2) you've used neither Remote Desktop nor
Remote Assistance, this would be news. Probably not significant news
given that there's no functionality issue, but interesting, anyway.
