I hope you can help me---I hope I can explain this kooky
little thing that just happened. When I hit My Computer &
it pops up the different drives (A, D, whatever)the text
underneath the little icons for the drives has always
been black. All of a sudden, the letters identifying the
C Drive are all in blue & underlined (like they are when
you can click on a link for something)
So my question is "Why?". Why all of a sudden am I
getting the blue?

Thanks so much!
Whitley

The reason why your c:\ drive is now higlight in blue is
because you(or someone else) enabled compresing the drive.
To turn this off simply right click on the c:\ drive under
my computer, click properties, and with that first window
that opens there will be a box in the lower portion of the
window that says "compress drive to save disk space"
uncheck this box and theres no need to restart the blue
underlineing should immediatly go away.

Hope this helps.
