There are literally hundreds of Stop Errors (blue screens). Since you told
us absolutely nothing about your computer, the text of the Stop Errors, or
when the Stop Errors occur (what you are doing), no one can help you.

You say this is a new computer. If you mean "new out of the box, haven't
even installed anything" then take it back immediately. It's probably bad
hardware. If you mean "new, it's a month old and I've been busy downloading
cr*p with Limewire" that's another story.

Help us help you:

Hello Jean Paul. My name is Kaja and hopefully I can be of some help. Well
there are numerous reasons for a blue screen error, but I think the important
thing to stress is that this is a sign of a serious error and if the comuter
is new it should not be occurring. What I would reccomend is two things.
First take the computer back to where you bought it and get them to examine
it and fix the problem. Hopefully since it is new there will be some kind of
warranty.
The second thing I cannot stress enough is since the hard drive may crash
with this kind of error is that you back up all your files for safekeeping.
There are numerous ways to do this depending on your budget and technical
expertise. For example you could buy and external hard drive which is
roughly $100 and back up the files on there. I think a better and much
cheaper alternative is to get a USB Flash drive. They have 2 Gigabytes for
about $20 and up to 8 Gigabytes. Simply plug it into your USB ports on the
computer and it should automatically install as as a PNP "Plug and Play"
device. Then you can transfer your files onto that. I hope this is helpful.
Please let me know so I can improve my services.
Best regards,
Kaja
