How can I block unwanted websites from my whole network?

I teach at a Middle School in the UK.
I've block indiviual sites on the server by enabling
content advisor and specifying the ones I don't want
viewed. This works on the server but not on the clients.

Any ideas how I block the clients too?

(I'm using windows 2000 server and win 2000 pro clients.
I've got mandatory profiles and group policies to lock
down the desktops.)

An easier solution is to use a content filtering proxy at your gateway, as
opposed to trying to configure client software. It's easy to circumvent IE
restrictions, but not quite as easy to circumvent an integrated proxy.
Don't get me wrong, it can still be done, but...

Google for web content filtering, or something to that effect. There are a
number of good products that aren't terribly expensive.
