Blocking senders, not merely having emails go to the junk folder

I'm running Microsoft Outlook (same as Outlook Express basically), and can NOT block senders?!

I get an option to merely have select emails go to my DELETED (junk) folder, but I want to prevent them from getting to me in ANY SHAPE FORM OR FASHION...make sense

My daughters' Hotmail acct will "BLOCK" senders by simply entering in an email address, yet with Microsoft, I seemingly can only have emails go directly to my deleted folder whereas they don't get to my inbox?!?

Then too...the emails I'm wanting to NOT see, are in the form of a virus...I CONTINUALLY GET THEM. I open no attachments, as they come with "read me" and 8 random letters in the subject line

I've been to Symantec's site, and it is a valid virus/worm, but I CONTINUE to get them. The bogus address is "(e-mail address removed)" if that makes sense

Anyway...I'll take all the help I can get! :)

I might forget how I got to this site, so you're welcome to email me directly at, (e-mail address removed)

Regards

Kevin

Sorry this is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try a
Outlook newsgroup or annexcafe.general.user2user newsgroup.

I suggest you consider a good virus protection program and a SPAM
protection program. One that will do what you want is MailWasher, the
non-free version allows you to not see the blocked mail.

Note, sending replies directly to the author is not the way NGs work.
They need the interplay of others seeing the replies to work. If you are
unwilling to return to read the messages, you really don't care enough to
deserve an answer from people who do care enough to write them.

I hope you do find your way back, because I will not directly respond.
