Blocking permissions

Hi
Is there anyway to have the settings of Microsoft Antispyware not changeable
by the computer user or limit the settings permissions for the administrator
only?

You can use Group Policy to restrict it only for the administrator.

I only use local accounts for my computers. Is there any other way of doing it?

The current beta 1 release only supports Administrator accounts because its
original developer, GIANT, designed it as single user application. Hopefully
some of this will change to support limited user multiple account scanning
in beta 2.

Did I get that right? Are you saying the administrator accounts are the only
ones privileged(has permissions) to changed any setting of the Antispyware?

I have a local user account (user groups) not part of the admin account.
This local user account can change any setting of the Antispyware like the
admin account that is why I am asking if there is any way of not letting this
happen.

Ideally just the administrator accounts would have permission for changing
settings.

There is no other way I guess except for changing the priviledges on those
local accounts to limited user.

How do you that?
The local account is already a limited user but it still can change the
settings of Antispyware.

Ok, this is just a fault of the way the application was orginally developed,
you will have to wait until beta 2 to see multiple user version of MSAS with
assigned settings according to account priviledges.
