blocking of appelets by Explorer?

What source should I go to to try and solve the problem of
my Prof windows XP not allowing applets to show up on the
computer. The applelets do show up on all the other
computers that have viewed the web page.Including those
that have XP Home. I have not tried another XP pro

In this case the appelet is one that produces a stiched
photo as a "pan"

this may not be the correct place to ask this question, so
can anyone direct me to the right place?
