blocking a website

i would like to block a certain website. how can i go
about doing this? i use MSN, but i am not under the
primary name that handles the parental controls..so i
cannot go about it that way..any other ways?
 
Only other option that I know is using a host file.

Learn how by downloading this one and possibly using it by adding the site
you wish to show as a 404 error. This file is a text file and can be opened
with notepad.

The best way is to block the server from tracking you in the first place
Under the Security Tab download the hosts.zip file.
