Hi,

by accident I blocked the "Internet Explorer Toolbar FETB Module c:\program
files\fraudeliminator\2.1.2\fetb.dll".
I followed the steps given in the Help Section how to remove this from the
Unblock list, which seems to work fine...

However each time when I install the Fraud Eliminator it gets blocked
again... is this a bug??? Or are there more steps to be taken??

Thanks for letting me know!

Best Regards,
Ellen

1. Choose "Tools" - "Settings".
2. In the left pane, click on the "Spyware Scan" button
3. In the right pane, underneath "Ignored spyware threats", check the
ignored threats you wish to remove from the list, and then click the
"Remove" button.

Note that performing this task does not remove the potential threat from
your system; you will have to do another spyware scan to determine whether
or not the threat still exists, and if you wish to neutralize it.

Hi Andre,

I took these steps earlier:

How to restore a blocked or disabled item:
1. From the main screen, or any of the screens with the toolbar, click the
Security Agents icon or menu option.

2. On the top right of the screen, under the Take me to... section click
Blocked Events.

3. A list of all items that have been either disabled or blocked is
displayed. Select the item you would like to re-enable or unblock and when
the item appears in the right details window click Reactivate Item. This
restores the item to its original state before it was deactivate.
-----------

Only there was not a "Reactive Item" option, but it was named "Unblock" as
I recall...

Anyways, in the mean-time I have uninstalled MicroSoft AntiSpy and
fraudeliminator.
Rebooted my laptop. Installed fraudeliminator again and made sure it worked
fine. Then Installed Microsoft AntiSpy again and this solved my problem for
now... But this is not the correct way to solve the issue.

Best regards,
Ellen

Any chance that definition updates or the new Febuary 16th build .509 have
changed this detection over the time span?

Hi Bill,

I installed last night the latest version, let's see how things will go ...
And I learned to read more carefully too... from each thing you can learn!

Thanks for your reaction!

Have a great weekend!
Ellen
