When I go to AOL instant messenger and try to establish a
new screen name it sends me to the AOL screen name
service website
(http://my.screenname.aol.com/_cqr/login/login.psp?
siteId=aimregistrationPROD&authLev=1&mcState=initialized&c
reateSn=1&triedAimAuth=y). When I enter the required
information on the form and click the submit button, I
get a Microsoft Internet Explorer popup message
stating "Thank you for your interest in this Screen Name-
enabled service. At this time, we are unable to permit
you to access this service. We regret any inconvenience."
Does anyone know why I am getting this message? Is there
some security setting, or cookie blocking feature that
could be causing this or is Microsoft just trying to
block access to AIM? I am using Internet Explorer 6 SP1
running on Windows XP Home Edition.
