Please elaborate. You posted insuficient information both on the file being blocked and
what's supposedly blocking them.

I think lots of people have the same Q.

Running anti-virus scanners the loggs or results often report "blocked
files". What blocks them?

Yes, what blocks them? ...that's naturally one of the problems, I don't
know why or what... scanners doesn't report that and I don't know.

What can it be?
How can I check? (with what?)

I'm sorry, that is STILL insufficient information.

Therefore I can't speak directly to it. I can take a stab at what I think this MAY be.

Some files will have their respecitive Filer Handles held open by the OS or the User's
Account and thus can not be scanned. Thus an AV application may consider the files are
blocked from scanning. Examples of such a files would be...

C:\Documents and Settings\<user account>\NTUSER.DAT
C:\Documents and Settings\<user account>\NTUSER.DAT.LOG

_You_ need to be blocked.

I'm a debating humanist and antifacist (social-pedagogic green democrat)
Harassments against me has been ongoing during 20 years. Heavily increasing
since 6 years. It is based on rumors consisting of 95% lies. Today I have
no job and no money.

You can read about some (small parts) of it here (Sorry, Swedish only).

Reasently I ran a scan. The scanner reported ~100 blocked files.
Naturally it is a problem.
What can I do?

Scan on reboot?
Use any software that can tell what is blocking files?

Process Explorer can determine which files are open and by which process.
Open files cannot be scanned which is yet another reason for doing the
scanning in Safe Mode (which tends to minimize the number of open files).

No, it is NOT "naturally" a problem beacse what is considered "blocked" remains undefined
and you haven't provided any supportive information. just conclusions.

What you can do is post a log snippet that specifically is indicating "blocked files".

If there are more advice or hints on this subject I'm truly greatful. There
is not very much written on this in the group earlier either.

Tnx!

I'll repeat...

"What you can do is post a log snippet that specifically is indicating "blocked files"."
