Blocked Attachments

Can anybody help?

I am usuing McAfee anti-virus and can not see/receive attachments sent from
3 PC's at one of my clients. I have disabled e-mail scanning and identified
the senders as safe, no joy! All other PC's at the clients are ok. If I
preview the message through BT.com, the attchment id there. If I download to
my PC, hey presto - Gone!

Thank you for your help. However, I will revert to Outlook and not use
Windows mail. I did not have this problem before using Vista and windows mail.
 
Are those problem senders using Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook, by default, uses a proprietary form of encoding for
attachments, which is not readable by non-Outlook mail clients.
Ask the sender to resend using either plain text (preferred) or
standard HTML format. For more on this issue see:
