I have Windows XP Professional. I am the administrator. I would like to
block my duaghers log in from getting on the internet. That way she can use
the programs on the computer when I am not home, but not be on the interner
when I am not around. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Chris

I think that is possible - however cruel.
-Have you considered using a hosts file instead - it blocks websites you
don't want any-one to be able to access

-Otherwise there should be some intersting options by running gpedit.msc
and under
User Congfig/Adminsitrative Templates - there is a whole host of things you
could do to the users on your computer
..but to make it specific to a user account I am unsure of - maybe some -one
else could tell us how without having to buy a book.

Hi - and thanks for your help. I am not trying to be cruel, but my daughter
uses My Space, AIM, etc... I am trying to minimize the possible trouble she
could get in. Right now she does ok on the risk factor, but will sit on the
computer all night and not do her homework and studying - grades have been
dramatically affected. I will try your idea.

Thank you!

Chris
