Don't let them run as local admins. This way, they can't install software
AND software they use can't revert change you implement.

cheers,

You cannot block ultrasurf !

Dear guys,
You cannot block ultrasurf so easily ! This is not a software. You don't need to install . Because it is a simple exe file that can be run from anywhere, pen drive, mail, desktop, any where. It cannot be blocked by name because you can rename and use it. You cannot even block this using linux iptables ! Any body succeeded in blocking it please tell me.

Hi Florian Frommherz,

Hi I have applied the restrictions and user can not able to logon as
local admin but they still be able to run the ultrasurf.

Hello Adnan,

After searching a bit about Ultrasoft, it seems not that easy to block, because
the .exe runs form a stick, disk or whatever, also it has not to be installed,
just to start. Also it will work when renamed to another filename.

Have a look here about some option's:

We use Sophos AntiVirus and the application control is really good.
