Block Sender does not help controlling all the Spam

I am using XP as my O S and I E/O E 6 for web and mail. Spam has been very
much under control but suppliers of software appear to have techniques to
generate infinite number of new sender addresses. In spite of religiously
asking O E to block each such sender, new senders keep cropping, offering
software from M S, Intel hardware upgrades and a number of other products
totally irrelevant/unrelated to my system and e-mail subjects.
Is there any more sophisticated tool in O E 6 or 7 which will automatically
delete such spam? Would using the message blocking rules saying "delete
messages containing such and such words in subject" help? I am worried that
I may lose genuine announcements of products.

That is the price lazy people pay. I manually delete 200 mails a day as I won't let no stupid computer decide on what is mail or not.

I have used Mail Washer earlier. And if I remember correctly, it too needs
specifying the rules for blocking/deleting suspected spam. Can Mail-Washer
determine on its own if a message is spam and list it for action by the
User?
