I have received the following twice when trying to send e-mails to friends
with Hotmail addresses. Why is this happening and how can I resolve it?

You didn't tell us what your IP is or what server you use to send email
from.

If you're sending from your own IP, instead of your ISP's mail server,
and you don't have a proper business IP setup, you're going to be
blocked by most mail servers.

If you have a residential account and you're sending email out to some
place other than your ISP's mail server, you could be compromised and
spamming the world from your own computer - getting your IP blocked.

We need more info to help.

This means that your IP, or possibly your mail provider's IP, has been
blacklisted. You'll need to start with contacting your mail provider, and
you will need to be able to give them the complete details from the message
headers.

Don't expect the de-blacklisting process to be quick. You may want to have
a look for an alternate email provider for the meantime.
