I have several users that share one computer. They each
log in with their own user accounts. I need to
block internet access for some of the users. While still
allowing others to surf the web.

There is no good way to do that using the operating system, especially in a non
domain computer. Some may suggest using ntfs deny permissions on the iexplore.exe
executable, but that is far from foolproof as browsing still can be done other ways
such as through the explorer address bar or even links in Word Documents. There is a
firewall product called Portslock that can have different firewall configurations
based on user which may work well for you. It is free to try and reasonably priced.
Keep in mind that users you want to deny access to must not be administrators on the
computer or they will be able to override or uninstall programs. --- Steve
