Bloated forms in MS Access 2000

The application is broken into two seperate databases.
First is the Database that contains everything exept the
Tables. The second database contains only the tables for
record storage. I noticed that the first database has
gone from a 2+ meg file to a 215meg file.
I made a copy then deleted all the forms from the first
database and ran the "Compact and repair", the file size
then became 1.5meg in size. I then opened a new database
and imported several forms from the original database.
Then "compact and repaired after each import". Each time
a form from the original database was imported into the
new database it grew by 3.9megs in size.
I really need help in fixing this problem with the forms
bloating.

Sincerely,
Ron D.

I think you may have some embedded images in your front-end. They
always cause a great deal of bloat. If you have, then it's best to
store them outside the databse and to use links to them instead.
