Blinking

My computer blinks when I change pages on the internet.
Fire Fox and explore will do the same thing.Have changed video card.
Updated drivers and reloaded XP.

Is the power light on your monitor blinking also?

I had an LCD monitor that did that when certain applications were loaded.
It was a sign of its impending failure. The monitor got worse and
eventually went blank for good. A repair (it was still under warranty)
solved the problem.
