blinking projector when slide show is started

display is fine through the projector until you actually
start the presentation....when you do the projector starts
blinking on and off....the computer monitor
doesn't...sometimes it does it on just one slide somewhere
in the middle of the presentation and only on that
slide...nowhere else....sometimes all of them

Check the cables.

Try another cable
Try a short cable

Try another PC
Try another projector
