Why are the screens I go to blinking, particularly when I
run my cursor over a link or a prime example is when I
visit cbssportsline.com and I have a baseball game (in
progress) and the screen changes as the game is
continously updated, the blinking is constant. Also my
browser is closing and asking if I want to send an error
message to Microsoft. This is also happening at my home
computer.

My office computer is Windows 98 and my home, Windows ME,
but this all seems to have started happening when I was
prompted to check for updates by Microsoft and I
downloaded SP1 and some others I was told were critical
for security reasons.

Anyone know what happened? Thanks.
