Blinking battery light

I also have my computer plugged into an outlet, however
for the past few days, my battery light on the laptop is
flashing in a orange color, which I assume indicates m
battery is low?.....Can you please help me with this!

...or that it's being charged? (That's what flashing means in my IPAQ). What
does your manual say?
