To everyone who has encountered the blast worm. There is
a simple solution to get rid of it. I thought it was to
simple to work but it did and it only took me 15 minute.
First off I am using Windows XP Home Edition, I had
picked up virus protection today to install but I was too
late. After trying to log on for help a few times about
12 to be exact I noticed that the virus only activated
when trying to get on line. So I rebooted my computer
normally, when it came up I went into net work security
and went into advanced and activated my internet
protection firewall then I went to windows restore and
restored my computer from August 5, 2003 which according
to Microsoft is before the 11th which is the date they
started investigating it. After the restore and the
computer rebooted I went on line and got current updates,
installed them and computer is still working fine as of
this message post. If you have any questions feel free to

which I have high security on so I don't get a lot of
junk mail.
