Blaster Worm fix

I did a search on "*blast*.*" in my Windows Home & XP
versions, I found a file with a "*.p*" and deleted it and
then set my internet fire wall up for my dial-up
connection. So far my machines are staying up! I'm
keeping my fingers crossed though! Also I tried to run
the security download fix and it blows up. It tells
me "Access Denied"; what's up with that??????????

Did you log on as the administrator?
 
If You don't use a cleaning tool - symantec for exemple -
or a fix which cleans up the registry there is always a
risk that there is still a line about an automatic update
of the blast thing. You will in that case notice soon mvh
