H Howard Kaikow Aug 24, 2003 #2 On a multiboot system, I have a Win 2000 partition created with a clean install. That partition does not have the BLASTER environment variable. Last week, on the same PC, I upgraded the lone win 98 partition to Win 2000. That partition does have the BLASTER environment variable. Is there any reason I should not delete the BLASTER variable? It is not used by any other Win 2000 partition on the same system.
