Blank Update Window at Logon

Hello:
I get blank Update & Status Windows (probably from
Windows Update) when I logon. I have tried to eliminate
them in regedit, and msconfig, but they still appear.

Any suggestions?

What do these windows look like? (What's inside them?) They don't sound like
something Windows Update would open. You may also want to try running a
spyware detector program.
