I am using ppt 2002 on a win 2k machine. I am trying to use a design
template for only some of my slides in my show and no template for others.
How can this be done? I know I can use different templates for each slide,
but do I have to make a blank template for slide that I want to have no
design?

Thanks,
Ray

Hi Ray,

For the slides without the template, click on Format,
Background and check the box that says Omit Background
Graphics.

Glenna,
That doesn't remove the entire template. Just the some of the graphics
on the layout.

What do you mean by blank template? If you mean white
background, change the background color to white as well
as checking the omit graphics box.

If you mean no objects on the slide at all, click on
Format, Slide Layout, and choose the blank layout for your
slides as well as doing the background settings thing.

HTH,
Glenna
