Have a design template for a slide show that is used on all slides EXCEPT I don't want to
use the template for three slides. While working on the slide show how do I get a blank
slide? Using Win98 and PP2002. Thanks in advance!

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Since you are using PowerPoint 2002 this should be very simple.

1) Select the three slides in Slide Sorter View
2) Format -> Slide Desgn (this brings up the Slide Design task pane)
3) In the task pane, position cursor over thumbnail for "Default
Design.pot" and click on the down-arrow to display menu
4) Choose "Apply to Selected Slides" from the menu

This will change the design for the 3 selected from your current design to
the blank "Default Design.pot" design.

If the option to "Apply to Selected Slides" is not available, you might
have inadvertently disabled the multiple masters feature in PowerPoint. To
turn it back on:

1) Tools -> Options
2) In the "Edit" tab make sure that the "Multiple Masters" option is turned
off in the "Disable new features" area of the dialog and click OK

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint make it easier to perform this task, don't forget to send your
