All of a sudden, I am getting about 4 or 5 Emails per sessions that have a
blank subject or body contents. Is there a way to stop these? So far I have
checked the message rules and there is no way to signify that these Emails
should be deleted automatically. Any suggestions? Thanks.

One of my mail filters rejects mail if there is no vowel in the subject
line and works nicely against those e-mails. Reject if there's no "A"
or there's not "E", or there's no "I", etc.

I don't understand what the intent of the e-mail is though since there
doesn't seem to be any virus attached.

Actually, that should be send it to Trash if there's no "A" *AND* no "E"
*AND* no "I", etc. AND rather than OR. Sorry for any confusion caused.

I use this rule:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the Subject line does not contain 'a' or 'e' or 'i' or 'o' or 'u' or
'y'
Move it to the Spam folder
and Stop processing more rules

Note that you have to click Add after each letter.
You can choose to Delete it rather than moving it to a specified folder, but
I like to review them before deleting them. Every once in a while one of my
relatives doesn't enter a subject.

Thanks Frank but I am a little confused. First, I am using Outlook Express
for my mail. When I go to the Tools>Message Rules and bring up the box. I
cannot find any choice that says "when the Subject line does not contain 'a'
or 'e' or 'i' or 'o' or 'u' or 'y'". I am sure it is a simple thing but, for
some reason, I am missing the technique for doing this. My mind must be
blocking it. I have made many message rules but there is usually something
for me to type into the rule.
I appreciate your help.

Thanks Frank, I've just created that rule - see how it works. I've been getting a few
blank emails myself.
