Blank subform

My main form has one subform. When there is no subform info for a record
the subform appears as a blank, no column names no nothing.

How can I make the subform appear, just empty?

Forms with no existing records only show "empty" controls when the form also
allows new records to be entered. When you see a form with all controls empty
you are actually looking at the "add new record" position. If the Form and/or
Recordsource that the form is based on do not allow new records then you get the
totally blank form.
