Hi,

I have a very wierd problem with my IE 6.0 (win 2k) that started only 1
month back. Despite all my IT professional help, we still could not trace the
root cause of the problem.

1. when I surf the net, most sites are almost perfect except when I
encounter forms.
2. For instance, when I reach this site : www.mlx.ml.com I would get the
login screne for a brief 0.5sec before a blank screen appears.
3. In yahoo mail, I could delete mails but not forward nor reply (whenever
there is an arrow button)
4. in gmail, it would not load too. A blank screne appears.

I believe it is a very simple problem but we have absolutely no idea how it
came by. Can you kindly point me to the correct direction.

Thanks

Hi,
Easy first step. Delete the Temporary Internet Files.

Check the configuration of third-party security programs. Is one of them
blocking pop-ups, scripts, scripting, active content, etc?

Does it help to put these sites in Trusted Sites? (Internet Options>
Security> ...)
You might try resetting the Internet Zone to default or try the recommended
settings at http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm#Setting

Are you accepting cookies from these sites? (Internet Options> Privacy)

[Long shot] Check this setting: Internet Options> Security> Internet Zone>
User Authentiation> select "Prompt for user name and password."

Javascript problem?
Try these two commands from Start> Run> cmd [enter]
regsvr32 vbscript.dll [enter]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [enter]

Reinstall the scripting engine. Go to
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp
for the appropriate download of Windows Script 5.6
