Need some help urgently with Win XP. My laptop boot up to a blank screen with
no icons, startup. Pressing ALT+CONTR+DEL shows that the system is running.
This happened after i uninstall IE7.

The error message is as follows:
Explorer.exe - entry point not found
The procedure entry point InternetCrackUrlW could not be located in the
dynamic library WINNET.dll

Anyone can help?

Rock,

I had this happen to me when I upgraded to IE7, had issues with my system
and then uninstalled it. I had to do a system restore back to when I had
IE6 on. I have IE7 now and have no issues. A MS knowledge base article
indicated that if there was a glitch in the install of IE7, it could crash
the system. Nice warning for a new product, eh?
