Blank Screen & Not Working

OK I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled several
times and have the same problem. The installation goes
great, however I cannot change anything or run scans.
All of the screens are a cloudy blue, where there should
be writing. I have Windows XP Home, SP2. As I said I
have installed several times and tried to "change"
via "Add-remove programs", still no luck. I run
BitDefender 8 Professional Plus, firewall and Antivirus,
however even when exiting the program, I still have the
bloody blank screens. I do not know if this is an Active
X thing, or what, but the program works great on the PC
but not here on my Laptop. Anytime I select any option
the main screen is the blue cloud background. Please
help if you can, as I am tired of installing and
reinstalling and uninstalling.... Cheers
 
In addition, If I go to do a scan of my system - guess
what, yep, the screen just goes back to that lovely blue
and white background, and no scan... cheers
