I was going to update my Nvidia card (which I've done
before) and I acidently uninstalled my display adapter from
the control panel instead.... I know I'm not supposed to
do that!!! Anyway, now when after the "Windows is Loading"
screen, my display goes BLANK (like its OFF). I can tell
windows has booted and is working though because my sounds
are there and I can shutdown with the Windows keyboard key.

So I pressed F8 while loading, tryed "Safe Mode" and the
same blank screen thing happens. I have tried EACH option
in the menu such as "VGA Mode" "Restore mode" and none
worked or helped.

I have an OEM preloaded copy of WinXP from the manufacturer
so I have no CD's to reinstall WinXP.

I'm able to use my computer now thru Linux LindowsOS with
no problems. Separate hard drive from XP.

So how can I reinstall my display adapter from a blank
screen and no CD's?

.
Boot into your BIOS setup and check that your video card
is being detected, and look at the screen during the POST
bootup tests, as it should show info on the display card.
If none there, try removeing the video card from the PC,
just temp, and start it that way, then shut off, and
reinstall the card, and bootup again. Also you can try to
borrow a windows XP CD from someone to do a repair re-
install of XP, or try the Recovery Console. good luck.
