Hi:

I have a Dell Dimension 4300 running Windows 2000 Professional.

All of a sudden Internet Explorer did not open after I doubled click
on its icon. So I decided to restart the system.

From that moment, windows starts up to the logon window, I enter my id
and pwd and select the domain name. After successfully login in the
welcome sound sounds but all I see is a blue screen with no icons or
anything at all. I suspect that Internet Explorer got corrupted.

I tried the Repair CD and nothing. I tried starting on Safe Mode or
with administrator local and domain accounts and it didn't work. ( I
get the same blue screen)

Do I need to reinstall Windows 2000? Or is there a way to repair
Internet Explorer / Win2000 ??

thanks,

Alex Mann.

Have a look at the item "Explorer dont start" (excuse the spelling!)
in this newsgroup, posted some 12 hours ago.
