Blank pages

I'm new to this message board but I've tried everything I know so here goes -
-
My problem is that when I connect to a page it appears and then disappears.
This is not true all the time but enough to drive me crazy. For example - -
I use a payment gateway, a virtual terminal -- I can connect to the site,
then when I enter with a password the page I'm trying to connect to appears
then disappears. Same is true for example when connecting to a Google image
- - if I click on the image, the connecting page appears then disappears.
Any help that's given would be greatly appreciated.
