Can't log into hotmail - I go through normal sign in
procedure and then the next page is just blank. I tried
this on my other computer and no problem. So I assume
this is a IE6.0 issue on this machine, but dunno what to
do? Can anybody help?

I have exactly the same problem. I can't seem to load up the next screen
after signing into hotmail, nor gmail for that matter. Interestingly, other
users on my PC using a separate log-in doesn't experience any probs. I'm
using XP home and IE 6.0.

Please help.

Many thanks!

One cause of that symptom could be META Refresh redirects
which can't complete because that option is disabled in the Security tab.

Depending on the HTML source and the method of redirection
a similar symptom could occur if it was implemented using Javascript
and scripting was disabled in the Security tab.

Use View Source on your "blank" page and see if the destination
URL is in there. You can copy it from there and paste it into your
Address bar to continue.

Sometimes the URL= will refer to a relative reference and you will
have to construct a full URL based on the context or the rest of the
source. Post the URL and a relevant extract from the source
if you need more help.

Many thanks for your help, Robert.

I have tried your method of viewing source on the blank page and copying the
URL there into my browser and it works now. I have checked my META Refresh
redirects under the security tab and that is "enabled".

However, I still don't seem to be redirected into my gmail account
automatically after logging in - the problem persists.

Any further advice on this matter would be much appreciated.
