Blank named folder

I had IIS installed and running where I was keeping Service Packs and
Updates for the Domain, I also had it open to the internet. I noticed one
day that I had a new folder which didn't have a name, in the folder was sub
folders and I finally found that someone was uploading some movies and
games. I Closed the port in the firewall and removed IIS from my XP PC. I
was able to delete all the files but I have a few folders that I cant
delete? Everytime I try I get the following error message " Cannot delete
file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"

Thanks for any and all replies.
 
I've got the same problem on a 2k server in the ftproot, I can't
delete any of the folders and it is causing my backup to fail.
